MAD Studies Certificate & Diploma Programme
The full Certificate Programme (38 ECTS credits) is designed for cultural workers, scholars, artists and activists seeking a curriculum and community through which to ground and refresh their practice.
Students enrolled in the MAD Studies Certificate Program towards a GCAS (GCAS-Jəhān or other) post-bac degree will have completed a US BA program or equivalent.
Continuing education students may seek a certificate with any degree or non-degree background.
Those who have not yet completed an undergraduate degree may apply to pursue the MAD Studies Certificate independent of institutional credits toward a degree (or which could potentially count toward the degree in the case of certain institutions that value Extended Campus Projects).
The structure of the program assumes active work and independent study outside of courses.
Applicants to the Certificate Program may indicate interest in being considered for admission to the inaugural degree program.
